MODULARITY: THE LATEST TREND FOR HOSPITALITY OUTDOOR FURNITURE

Outdoor furniture for hospitality and commercial spaces has to do a lot of hard work. It’s got to look great, enhance intimacy and relaxation, withstand heavy traffic and weather, and adapt to any situation — while optimizing the space it inhabits. The following seating solutions are more than up to the job, offering the versatility of a sectional composition and so much more: innovative touches, luxe fabrics and finishes, and eye-catching silhouettes. Created by the world’s leading designers, these modular systems never stop working to deliver style and comfort.

Tablet by Vondom

The TABLET collection, designed by Ramon Esteve, brings new technologies and flexibility to the sectional, with a character that adapts to any space and a versatility that allows for a wide variety of shapes and compositions. The collection’s construction, based on a polyurethane foam with a metallic structure upholstered with polypropylene fabric, makes TABLET ideal for outdoor spaces, while its sophisticated aesthetic and finishing ensure it is at home in any indoor or outdoor space.

Bento by Varaschin

The ability to create multiple combinations makes Bento ideal for virtually every outdoor environment, from gardens, terraces, and balconies to porches, patios, and pools. The initial composition can easily be modified by adding further modules, making Bento equally at home in reception areas and exhibition spaces. Chic and stylish in all weathers, the structure is solid okume’ solid wood, padded with Dryfoam outdoor foam, with a removable cover available in a wide range of Varaschin outdoor fabrics. Geometric modules in coordinated covers act as a back, cushion, and armrest.

Extrasoft Outdoor by Living Divani

Designer Piero Lissoni’s Extrasoft is just that — a comfortable collection of different shaped and sized seating options that cuddle together in countless compositions.  The structure, in popular and pine plywood, features a sprung base with coated rubber elastic straps, black adjustable PVC feet, and differentiated density polyurethane padding, covered with a layer of goose down and a fully removable leather or fabric shell available in a range of fashionable colors to match any environment.

Moon Island by Manutti

Designer Gerd Couckhuyt’s minimalist design gives your imagination free rein with Moon Island, consisting of four sofa islands that can be mixed and moved around a central coffee table or footrest. From an intimate sofa corner to an accommodating lounge island, this modular system looks right at home in any space and comes in a wide variety of fabrics and colors.

Molo by Kettal

Aesthetically minimalist with intentionally oversized pieces, Rodolfo Dordoni’s Molo (“pier” in English) is an example of a modular sofa in its purest form. The collection of sofas, a deck chair, and a center table, based on a rectangular modularity design, adapts easily to any situation and optimizes any space in which it sits. Each module can be taken apart and rearranged to create new uses and configurations. The various combinations of fabrics, colors, and carefully selected details create a soothing place of relaxation and reconnection: “a return to terra firma and people.”

Pixel Sofa by Vondom

Ramon Esteve’s Pixel looks to “connect the piece with the numerous possible outcomes that are generated as a result of how it is arranged.” Inspired by the small elements of color that make up an image, the Pixel sofa is composed of three independent modules that allow for the creation of countless shapes, from linear sofas or chaise lounges to corners or even a bed. Pixel’s main characteristic is its low seating height, designed for more intimate use. The system’s versatility is enhanced through the upholstery, available in a variety of fabrics and finishes that can be combined with one another to create, as its name implies, a unique image and shape through different combinations.
