Armchair Dowel is one of the newest TON products on the market, boasting a modern European design paired with plenty of padded comfort. It is available in both oak and beech, both of which can be stained or painted in one of 12 different color options. To complement Armchair Dowel’s sleek and contemporary framework, designers added a generous layer of padded upholstery that is offered in 34 different colors, making it easy to blend with any existing color palette.

Jean Marie Massaud has designed a new modern armchair with a clever name, Achille, for MDF Italia.

In a review that appears on 3rings.com, writer Joseph Starr likens the padded chair to its namesake for its “long-legged profile, its beefy tubular metal sub-structure, its removable/washable cover, its soon-to-be notorious versatility.”

The sculptural chair comes in two versions: one with full arm and back support (above) and the other with a slightly convex back (below). With 14 color options, you can mix and match with easily removable upholstered covers. Achille by MDF Italia is available at Casa Design in Boston.
